With a long history in the software development space, Mike has helped grow and maintain the Quality Assurance (QA) process at Classy Llama. Before shifting his primary focus to software QA in 2012, Mike worked in a variety of roles including system administrator, SQL developer, business analyst, team leader, software tester, and project manager. He previously led the creation and automation of QA standards and procedures for a data product that reduced defect rates by nearly 80%.
During his time with Classy Llama, Mike has established standards and procedures for functional QA, maintained the list of standard browsers and devices used for testing, and written user acceptance testing guidelines for clients. He has also increased testing throughput by establishing a relationship with a remote team of testers and coordinating their work.

I’ve been married to my sweetheart Renee for over thirty years. We have eight children – four sons and four daughters. The oldest two are married. We have two grandsons and a granddaughter, and another grandson is on the way. We are a homeschooling family, and raising our children has been my primary activity other than work. My children are a verbose, noisy, active bunch who love a variety of athletic and outdoor activities as well as several artistic and creative pursuits.
