When GAHH Automotive reached out to Classy Llama, they wanted to replatform to Magento Commerce and update the look of their current site, GAHH.com.
In 1979, a skilled pattern maker and leather manufacturer from the old world set up shop in Southern California to manufacture replacement convertible tops for Mercedes-Benz automobiles. Since then, the name of GAHH has become synonymous with quality. Artisans, mindful of selecting the very best fabrics and leather, manufacture custom tops duplicating the original designs of convertible tops for luxury cars.

When GAHH Automotive reached out to Classy Llama, they wanted to replatform to Magento Commerce and update the look of their current site, GAHH.com. Their ultimate goal was to create a site that would meet the needs of both their B2B and B2C customers.
The bulk of GAHH’s traffic is from trim shops that are looking for quotes for new custom auto tops and they need to ensure availability as well as price before they order. Classy Llama built a custom B2B module to support the business objective of selling their products to automotive shops. Allowing B2B customers the ability to log in as a wholesaler created the ability to view unique pricing and obtain a quote for custom orders. Meeting this need lightened the load off of CSRs fielding calls for quotes and allowed GAHH to move away from their paper product catalog.
As the Intuitive ERP integration was a large component of this project, the Classy Llama team worked closely with Aptean (parent company of Intuitive ERP) to ensure the integration went smoothly. Intuitive serves as a backbone for GAHH’s brick and mortar locations and multiple automotive parts websites as it drives product data, order fulfillment and accounting. Through collaboration with Aptean, we were able to sort and display the products in Magento for filtering and search based on the category taxonomy and attribute data structure from the ERP. This improved the user experience and allows customers to easily locate the right products they are looking for.
The end result was a site that provides GAAH customers with a significantly improved experience over the functionality of their previous site. Additionally, the B2B feature provides them with functionality they did not have with their previous site and enhances their ability to effectively interact and sell to the suppliers they support.
