Full-Time Project Management Office Director
The Company:
Classy Llama Studios, according to its namesake, is a bit different. Our culture is a bit zany, our approach to business is a bit unconventional, and it seems to be working quite well. We have a team of highly committed llamas that care about each other and care about the clients we serve. We have each other’s backs, and what we do is more than a job; we are fulfilling a mission and pursuing a vision that we are passionate about. There’s meaning to what we do, and that’s the most important thing we have to offer new team members.
We have a set of core values we take very seriously, and they play a vital and lively role in how we relate to each other and to the market. Here are a few examples that underscore just how different it is to work at Classy Llama Studios:
- Every week, we have a company-wide staff meeting at which we communicate with complete transparency our financial position and outlook.
- Any time our clients ask for references, we include both positive and negative references. Yes, we literally send contact details of the clients that have been most dissatisfied with us to potential clients that ask for references. We want to make sure that our clients know what they’re getting into, and we hope they will give us the same level of transparency. This has generated huge trust in our relationships with clients, and it protects us from unrealistic expectations of perfection from our clients.
- We have a family potluck every Tuesday night with a “campfire”-type discussion afterwards. Team members and entire families are invited to this event as well. The intention of this meeting is to build a strong community within Classy Llama Studios, so that it’s not just a company, but a tightly-knit network of close relationships.
- When failures and shortcomings arise, we seek to drill to the root of the issue, so instead of just trying to “remediate performance,” we want our team members to grow holistically, overcoming their personal obstacles that keep them from success.
