Imagine Conference 2014 Was Epic…

It’s been a week since the conclusion of Magento’s Imagine Conference 2014 and the best way we can describe it is “epic.”

Here are some bite-sized highlights from the week:

-While there, Magento announced the release of Community Edition 1.9 and Enterprise Edition 1.14, which featured a fully responsive front-end built by Classy Llama and Brendan Falkowski.

-Classy Llama’s CEO, Kurt Theobald, was on stage for the first Keynote to demonstrate the new theme’s many great features and also share an example of a large-scale implementation of this powerful new theme.

-We launched The Llama Commerce Platform, which introduces a new a better way to build on Magento.

-Eric Wiese, who served as the technical lead on the Magento responsive build, received the opportunity to lead a breakout session regarding the fundamentals of building on the Magento responsive theme.

-We filmed four episodes of The Llama Commerce Show with incredible experts from companies like MailChimp and Yotpo.

-Almost 400 adorable plush llamas were given at our booth.

As you can see, there was a lot of great things going on this year at Imagine. We can’t say thank you enough to the folks at Magento and eBay who organized the conference and the many sponsors and merchants who really made it great. We’re already looking forward to next year!
